My dear friend Amy Russell is living every parent’s worst nightmare. On Friday night, her son Qwinten was critically injured after being struck by a vehicle while riding his scooter home from work. He was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center, where he remains in intensive care. Amy is a devoted single mother of two who has spent years pouring love into our community—whether teaching yoga at EXPAND, SHY, and the YMCA, or building lasting relationships through her career in banking. She has spent her life showing up for others; now, it is time for us to show up for her.
