Aloha mai kākou,
my name is Zuri and I am a “close family friend”/ hānai daughter of Amy Moore. Yesterday, Amy experienced an unimaginable loss with the sudden and unexpected passing of her mother, Sandy Thompson. Aunty Sandy was a beautiful, gentle, and generous person who always offered love and support to anyone she could. Her passing has left a deep void in our lives, especially for Amy, who is now facing not only the weight of this grief, but also the financial burden of final arrangements for her mother…
We are raising funds to help cover the cost of Sandy’s cremation, which totals $2,700, as well as the many other expenses that arise after the loss of a family member… This is not something anyone can ever truly prepare for, and the shockingly abrupt nature of Sandy’s passing has made the situation even more overwhelming.
Amy has always been there for others—selflessly, quietly, and with so much heart. Now, she needs our support more than ever.
Every donation, no matter the size, will help ease the financial stress and allow Amy the space to grieve and honor her mother’s memory. If you’re unable to give at this time, we’d be so grateful if you could share this fundraiser with others who may be able to help.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your kindness, generosity, and love during this extraordinarily challenging time.
With my deepest gratitude,
Zuri
