Our Story – For Tim - Update
Its with Great Sadness That Tim Passed Away on Tuesday 20th January, just 15 days after his prognosis.
As many of you know, Tim has been very unwell and has been in hospital since the 9th of October, spending most of that time at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham, with a couple of stays in Hereford as well.
Last Monday, the family received the devastating news no one is ever prepared for. Not only does Tim have a new brain tumour in a different area of his brain from where the previous one was removed, but this tumour is far more aggressive and has also spread to his spinal cord.
Heartbreakingly, there is now nothing more that can be done medically. Tim was transferred to St Michael’s Hospice, where the focus is on keeping him comfortable, peaceful, and surrounded by love.
The family are completely heartbroken but are doing everything they can to stay strong for their Timmy — their Daddy Bear — and for the children, who are facing the unimaginable reality of losing their dad at such a young age.
Amy is not someone who ever likes to ask for help. However, given everything this family has been through, there are so many people who would want to help in any way possible. While nothing can take away the pain of this situation, any support may help the family find some sense of normality during an incredibly dark and difficult time.
Any funds raised will go towards everyday living costs, funeral expenses so Tim can have the send-off he truly deserves, and providing ongoing support and stability for the children as they prepare to face life without their dad.
This page is being shared on behalf of Amy’s older son, who has been an absolute rock to her throughout everything this family has been facing.
Thank you for taking the time to read, share, or even donate — any of these things help in the best possible way and mean more to this family than words can express.
