Amy Harden, a beloved friend to so many, has been diagnosed with ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis), a progressive and challenging nervous system disease. Amy is a retired Sulphur Springs school teacher who has touched countless lives through years of dedication to her students and community. Throughout this journey, Amy’s husband, Rusty, has been a devoted caregiver, doing everything possible to support Amy and keep her comfortable. Amy’s adult children, Taylor and Brooke, have also been by her side, offering love and support as the family faces this difficult chapter together. As ALS progresses, the need for daily home healthcare has become essential, and the costs for this care are overwhelming. In addition to home healthcare, Amy now requires specialized medical equipment, daily medications, and supplements to help manage her symptoms and maintain her quality of life.
