Support Amy George's Urgent Medical Needs

Local businesswoman needs help

Amy George opened her own hair salon, “Salon by the Lake,” in Carrollwood 2 years ago. Last weekend she went to the beach with her girlfriends to relax. She unexpectedly lost conciousness and wound up in the Neuro-ICU at Northside Hospital in Pinellas County. Amy was diagnosed with a life threatening brain bleed (stroke) with a ventilator controlling her breathing and a tube in her brain to drain fluids. Amy is improving however is still in critical but stable condition.

Pat George (her husband) was a radio broadcast icon in the Tampa Bay area for a number of years. Pat's position was elimated from Beasley Broadcasting and the family lost insurance (which at 68 was the only reason he was working at Beasley).

In order to provide funds for Amy’s extensive medical needs and to help keep the family financially afloat

We are requesting funding in the amount of $40,000 to stabilize their future.
