Urgent Need: Fundraiser for Amy Copeland’s Medical Expenses

Dear Friends, Family, and Supporters,

My name is Ashley Briley and I am writing to you to request your support for a family member, Amy Copeland during a very difficult time.

Amy is facing mounting medical expenses due to shattering her right leg in a freak accident.

Amy broke her tibia and fibula both in three different places requiring reconstructive surgery placing a rod and 3 pins, will also require extensive ongoing treatment, including intensive physical therapy which has resulted in significant financial strain.

The cost of surgery, hospital stays, medication, specialist visits, physical therapy is beyond what we can manage on our own.

Amy is the mother of three wonderful children and wife/caretaker to her recently disabled/ wheelchair bound husband. For the past two years Amy has been the sole provider as her husband suffers through numerous medical issues of his own. At this time, they’re anticipating a minimum of 6-8 weeks recovery time - during which she will be unable to work.

You may recognize Amy from her long time job as a cook at Waffle House. If you’ve ever met Amy, then you’ll know that she never meets a stranger and always goes out of her way to help others. If you’re able and so inclined, please consider making a donation to help with the ongoing expenses and to help alleviate the financial burden of her continued treatment and recovery.

We have set a fundraising goal of $3800 to cover the following expenses:

Hospitalization, Medication,

Specialist Appointments,

Follow-up Care, living expenses during her time off work.

Any contribution, big or small, will make a significant difference in helping to manage these expenses and allow her to focus on her recovery. Your support will provide much-needed relief and allow her to focus on healing rather than worrying over the financial burden.
