Help Us Get Water! | Deep Well Fundraiser
Hey everyone, it's Charlie Vest
As you may know already from recent videos, we have been struggling to get our water working right for the last 2 years. It's me, my fiancée Amy, and our 5-year-old son Anthony. In the process of trying to fix it, I have only made it worse, and now we have no water at all. We've tried everything under the sun, but honestly, I've basically given up. It's a lost cause, for real. Trying to live without reliable running water has been the worst thing we have experienced. It's gotten to the point where we're driving 45 minutes to my mom's place or an hour to my brother's just to get showers every couple of days. It's exhausting and makes everything so much harder.
So I've come to the conclusion: we need a deep well put in. It's a massive project, but it's the only way to get consistent, dependable water around here. I have asked plumbers and AI and tried everything I can think of.
I'm usually not one to ask for help like this, especially since someone already set up a GoFundMe for our Netherlands trip next year. I didn't even ask for it. We are super grateful though, and I'm a little afraid people will think I'm just asking for money. But honestly, I've just gotta suck up my pride on this one. I don't know what else to do. It's a basic need.
I got a quote from Nelson Well Drilling, and it's $7,600 for the whole thing. Plus, there may be inspectors' fees, I don't even know. That's a huge chunk of money, and I just don't have it right now.
