Support Amy and Jake Through Brain Tumor Battle

Hi, we’re Brittany Fazio and Brandy Summers, Amy English’s sisters-in-law, and we’re organizing this fundraiser on behalf of our beloved family member who is going through an incredibly difficult time.

Amy and her husband Jake were just married on September 28, 2024, beginning what should have been the happiest chapter of their lives. But only a few months into their marriage, they were faced with heartbreaking news.

After over a year of unexplained illness, Amy was recently diagnosed with a brain tumor. She is currently in the Neurology floor at MU Medical Center in Columbia MO Surgery is scheduled June 9. If discharged prior to discharge she will require around the clock care. The emotional and physical toll has been overwhelming — and so has the financial strain.

Due to her condition, Amy has been unable to work. Jake has had to take significant time off to care for her. The hospital is over two hours away from their home, making every appointment a financial burden. Their only vehicle needs repairs, and they are struggling to cover rent, gas, and essential daily expenses.

We are raising $10,000 to help relieve some of the financial pressure they’re facing and cover:

• Rent and basic living expenses

• Gas and travel to and from the hospital

• Car repairs

• Lost income due to time off work

This should be a time filled with newlywed joy, but instead, Amy and Jake are navigating fear, uncertainty, and financial stress. Our family is doing all we can to support them — and now, we’re reaching out to you for help.
