On Wednesday evening, 5/22/24, Amy was driving home from work when she was t-boned by a drunk driver. She arrived at the hospital with a TBI, multiple broken bones, massive internal bleeding, and a collapsed lung. All of her injuries are on her left side because she was t-boned on the driver’s side. Multiple emergency surgeries have been performed on her thus far. She has been in a medically induced coma and has already had surgery to remove part of her skull (temporarily) to allow the swelling and brain bleed to go down.

Thankfully, they are weaning her off of some medication and are recording some brain activity!

Amy is a proud and devoted mother of Jalen (11) and Sakani (4), and at the present time, they just know that mom was in an accident and the doctors are fixing her. Amy is also a proud graduate of Cooley Law School (MI) and is studying for the bar exam. She completed her JD in less than the 3 years it typically takes while also raising her children and managing the household.
