On July 5th, Levi Gibson (39) was lost in a horrible accident while enjoying family time on the lake with his wife Amy and their three sons, Greysen (11), Liam (5) and Sawyer (almost 2). After one of the boys fell off the tube behind the boat, Levi jumped in the water and swam to his son to help him. Levi didn’t resurface. All the boys were safely brought to shore but Levi, tragically did not make it. Amy is left to raise the three boys on her own and the boys are left without their beloved & devoted father.

Levi was a combat veteran in the United States Marine Corps and after discharge owned a farm and forestry business, employing a number of other veterans and serving his community in Afton, Oklahoma. He helped many struggling veterans find their paths through his mentorship. He was the hardest working person and cherished his family. He was also a rare friend, always willing to stay on the phone with a friend in need and offer guidance. The world lost an incredible person and the Gibson family will never be the same.
