My name is Kristine York. I am coming to you today in support of my long-time friend and co-worker, Amy Carlson.

Amy has worked in healthcare as a respiratory therapist for the past 28 years. She has cared for countless people in their worst of times.

Amy has found herself going through an unimaginable time herself. Amy’s partner Jay, and the father of their beautiful 8 year old daughter Avery, is losing his battle with Liver Fibrosis. He is in Home Hospice and has been sick and unable to work for a year and a half. The medical bills are piling up, and Amy is still trying to work and take care of their sweet daughter.
