Yesterday, my sister Amy lost Trish - her wife, her person, her best friend unexpectedly. Trish loved her wife more than anything in the world, though she also had tremendous love of animals and helping people. Trish had a lively sense of humor, was fiercely protective of her family and friends, and loyal to the end. She will be greatly missed at gatherings and especially around the card table where her commentary and comedy were within earshot of all.
