Hello, my name is Amphia, I’m 28 years old and I’m a trans non-binary person.

I’m currently living out of my art, which is music. Like many people in creative fields, this path is not easy or stable, and it doesn’t allow me to save the money. I also come from a working-class background, so I don’t have financial support from my family.

After thinking about it for a long time and talking about it with some of my close friends, I’ve decided to start this GoFundMe to help cover the cost of a tracheal shave (Adam’s apple reduction surgery).

This is a very important step for me. It’s not about aesthetics, but about well-being and mental health. Being able to access this surgery would help me feel more at peace with my body and move through the world with greater confidence and ease.

I’ve already had an initial contact with a surgeon, and my first appointment is booked on May 14th, 2027. Till then I decided to make this campaign to raise 5,000£, which will go towards covering the costs of the surgery, hospitalization, anesthesia, and travel.

Additionally, as part of my gender-affirming process, I would also like to get laser hair removal. So if the campaign goes beyond the initial goal, any extra support will go towards this.

Any contribution, no matter how small, as well as sharing this campaign, means everything to me.
