My name is Rita , and I’m starting this fundraiser for someone incredibly close to my heart—my best friend, Amor.

Recently, Amor received the life-altering news that she has breast cancer. This diagnosis has shaken all of us, but true to her name, Amor continues to face each day with grace, strength, and yes—love.

She’s not only an incredible friend, she’s a sister, a wife, a daughter, and one of the strongest, kindest souls I’ve ever known. Did I mention a devoted cat mama to three beautiful fur babies who are her world. Through it all, they’ve stayed by her side, offering quiet comfort as she begins the hardest journey of her life: fighting cancer.

As Amor prepares for surgery, chemotherapy, and ongoing treatments, the financial strain is growing. She is facing:

• High medical bills not fully covered by insurance

• Expenses for transportation to and from treatments

• Basic needs and support to care for herself and her pets
