Help Amna's family to survive through the genocide in Gaza

Bonjour, je m'appelle Helene Juillard et je collecte des fonds pour Amna Abu Zayed, son mari et leurs quatre enfants qui se trouvent encore aujourd'hui à Gaza.

Je suis professeure à l'université de Manchester et à Sciences Po et directrice d'une société, Key Aid Consulting, qui forment des travailleurs humanitaires et aide les organisations humanitaires via des projets de recherche et d'évaluation. J'ai rencontré Amna, via une formation, visant à la réduction des violences basées sur le genre. Amna est une activiste féministe gazaouie, qui a passé une grande partie de sa vie à défendre les droits des femmes dans la bande de Gaza.

La situation d'Amna et de sa famille est extrêmement critique. Déplacés depuis plus d'un an, du fait de bombardements incessants, ils ont TOUT perdu: leur maison, leurs économies, tous leurs biens. Abed (14 ans), Mohamed (12 ans), Youssef (9 ans) et Iana (5 ans), les quatre enfants d'Amna ne peuvent plus aller à l'école, détruite elle aussi. Autour d'eux, plus de services publics, plus d'hopitaux et nul part où aller, les frontières sont officiellement fermées. Gaza est une prison à ciel ouvert de 10 km de large.

Nous avons besoin de votre aide afin qu'Amna et sa famille puissent passer l'hiver et lorque cela sera possible, de pouvoir sécuriser le passage d'Amna et sa famille vers l'Egypte.

(Amna et moi avons beaucoup hésité à publier des photos des enfants sur le web, mais il nous a paru important de mettre des visages sur la tragédie qui se joue en ce moment.)

Hello, my name is Helene and I'm raising money for Amna Abu Zayed, her husband and their four children who are still in Gaza.

I'm a lecturer at the University of Manchester and Sciences Po Paris and the director of a company, Key Aid Consulting, which trains aid workers and helps humanitarian organisations through research and evaluation projects. I met Amna through a training course aimed at reducing gender-based violence. Amna is a Gazan feminist activist who has spent much of her life defending women's rights in the Gaza Strip.

The situation of Amna and her family is extremely critical. Displaced for more than 8 months by incessant bombardments, they have lost EVERYTHING: their home, their savings, all their possessions. Abed, Mohamed, Youssef and Iana, Amna's four children, can no longer go to school, which has also been destroyed. Around them, there are no public services, no hospitals and nowhere to go, as the borders are officially closed. Gaza is an open-air prison of 10 km wide.

We need your help so that Amna and her family can cover basic needs for the upcoming winter and to secure passage for Amna and her family to Egypt, whenever possible.
