Hi everyone, we are Alisha Taylor and Darius Cassell Sr., proud parents of Amiyah Cassell.

Our little girl, Amiyah — or “Miy Miy” as we call her — has been fighting sickle cell disease since she was just two weeks old. From the very beginning, she’s shown more strength and courage than most adults ever have to. We have been doing everything we can to care for her, keep her safe, and stay strong through it all.

But as many of you know, life doesn’t stop — and the bills don’t either. Long hospital stays and constant care have made it hard for us to stay afloat financially. Right now, our main goal is simply to keep a roof over our heads and continue giving Amiyah the love and care she needs.

We’re not the type to ask for help, but this fight has taught us that it really does take a village. Any donation — no matter how small — helps us keep pushing forward for Miy Miy. Even sharing this page means the world to us.
