Support Amit Kumar Jha and Family After Tragic Bus Accident in New York

We are organizing this fundraiser on behalf of our dear friend, Amit Kumar Jha, who lives in Naperville, Illinois with his wife and young child.

Having moved to the United States only a couple of years ago to build a new life, Amit recently welcomed his parents to visit and spend precious time with their family.

Tragically, during this visit, the family was involved in the devastating bus accident in New York on Friday August 22, 2025. In this heartbreaking incident, Amit’s father lost his life, and other family members sustained serious injuries that require ongoing medical care.

The shock and pain of this loss are overwhelming, and the financial burden only adds to the difficulty. The family now faces funeral expenses, mounting hospital bills, and the challenge of caring for injured loved ones while grieving the sudden loss of a beloved father and grandfather.

We are asking our community, friends, and well-wishers to come together to support Amit and his family in this incredibly difficult time. Funds raised will go toward:
