My name is Amira Abed, and I am a mother doing my best to rebuild a life for my family after we lost everything during the war.

We were displaced from our home losing not only our shelter and belongings, but also our sense of safety and stability.

For months, we have lived in tents, facing harsh weather, fear, and uncertainty every single day. Despite these challenges, I have tried to stay strong for my children and give them hope for a better future.

Our Situation

With very limited resources, we began repairing part of our damaged home. We managed to create a small shelter, but it’s still not livable. The walls are cracked, the windows shattered, the doors missing, and there’s no insulation to protect us from the cold winter ahead.

What We Need

To make our home safe and livable again and to prepare for a stable future we urgently need support for:

Repairing structural damage (walls, roof, and foundation)

Replacing broken windows and doors

Restoring electricity and plumbing

️ Providing basic furniture and bedding for the children

❄️ Installing insulation for winter protection

Our Hope for the Future

Beyond rebuilding our home, we are also hoping to travel out of Gaza to create a better life one free from pain, fear, and constant struggle. We dream of giving our children the chance to grow up in peace, pursue education, and build their future with dignity and opportunity.
