Support Amili's Journey to Defy Odds
Donation protected
Hi my name is May and I’m fundraising for my sweet baby girl Amilis 1 week intensive therapy in North Carolina this coming May. Amili has FOXG1 syndrome it is a rare genetic neurodevelopmental disorder caused by changes in the FOXG1 gene. FOXG1 is important for early brain development, and when impaired causes cognitive and physical disabilities. Every person with FOXG1 syndrome is unique, but common symptoms include: developmental differences, feeding difficulties, epilepsy, and movement disorders. They say she will most likely never be able to walk or talk, feed herself and be on medication her whole life. We’ve been blessed to have been awarded a scholarship from AKAP at North Carolina for a week intensive therapy. In May with your donations we will be traveling to NC to try to help and give Amili a better chance at proving those doctors wrong and showing the world that with some love and support from friends and famILY she can be unstoppable. Any little bit goes a long way to help support us with travel, stay and transportation for the trip. Thank you all so much God Bless! Love Amili and May!
