My name is Ami in Fort Worth, Texas.

This took me over a week to write as I think I am still in shock :(..

I was recently hit very hard by an uninsured driver who also ran off the scene, leaving behind the totaled Tahoe truck that hit me.

Their insurance came back as expired.

Although I did have insurance coverage, I did not have uninsured motorist coverage which could have helped.cover this cost. (Word of advice ADD uninsured motorist to your policy ASAP if you don't already have it) - live and learn

Not only is the truck uninsured, but the driver abandoned the disabled vehicle in the middle of Denton Highway and ran off.

The police detectives know who the owner of the vehicle is, but it doesn't help us to know or prove who the driver is/was.

My car was spun around like Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz, crossing oncoming traffic and hitting a big Denali truck as my car was flying from the impact of being struck from behind while waiting to take a left turn on a 2-lane road.

After the impact, I was headed for a telephone pole while the car was also now facing the opposite direction. I slammed on the emergency brake and foot brake just in time before stopping in front of the pole. I THANK God for the quick thinking. Had I slammed that pole also, things would be a lot different

Due to my complicated health struggles and disabilities, I haven't been able to work to the capacity I used to-

- I have a passive reseller income which has been a lifesaver at times just to get by.

Anyway, I can't continue my reselling income without a vehicle!

Unfortunately, my Murano is done ✔️.

The cost of repair outweighs the value, etc.

Anything y'all can contribute will help! I am doing the best I can to earn what I can to put towards it as well - I hate asking for anything- and I do not expect anything for free!!
