Cyclone Ditwah Relief Fund

As you are aware, Cyclone Ditwah has devastated communities across Sri Lanka - flooding entire districts, triggering deadly landslides, and leaving hundreds lost their lives, thousands of families displaced. Homes, roads, and livelihoods were swept away overnight. Many families are now crowded into emergency shelters with no clean water, no electricity, and no way to replace the essentials they lost. Parents, children, and the elderly are facing unimaginable hardship as they try to survive the days ahead.

The Sri Lankan community in New York stands in solidarity with everyone affected in Sri Lanka during this difficult time. We have established this disaster relief fundraiser, GoFundme page, to raise urgently needed funds. Our goal is to raise $10000.00. We ensure that all donations are directed to the official Disaster Relief Fund established by the Central Bank of Sri Lanaka. We will keep you updated as we move forward.
