With the recent hurricanes in North Carolina and Florida, thousands of pets are displaced, injured, and in dire need of food, shelter, and medical care.

American Humane’s emergency response teams are on the ground, rescuing animals trapped in the aftermath of these storms. They provide essential veterinary care, food, and shelter, ensuring that these vulnerable animals are safe and cared for. Their efforts extend to reuniting lost pets with their owners or finding them new homes when reunification isn’t possible.
