Support American Dogs Groomers After Fire

Hi I'm Sarah Pinon, the owner of American Dogs daughter. Last Friday the unthinkable happened, a building fire a couple doors down. It was a very large fire, that they spent several days fighting. Luckily everyone made it out safely, but they will be out of work for some time. They are anticipating being closed a minimum of 3 weeks. And there are 7 groomers total out of work. Ann, Brooke, Christy, Levi, Michelle, Debbi, and Jess. Many of them have kids, mortgages, car payments, and being off work will be very tough for them. Several people have reached out asking how they can help, I think the best thing would be money they can split to use as needed while they are off work, to cover some lost wages. The basement had at least 4 ft of standing water for a few days, so the furnace, water heater, washer, and dryer,and electrical will all need replaced. Along with precautions to prevent mold. After all repairs are made the city will have to come and inspect the building to make sure its safe. They have all done an amazing job keeping everyone's pets looking and feeling their best and truly go above and beyond for each client, for many years. Ann has been grooming for over 20 years and is always quick to donate and help anyone out in their time of need, now its our turn to show how important American Dog is to our community.
