My name is Sevenwork Getachew, Amen Habtamu’s cousin. I am raising this fund for Amen (who currently lives in Addis Ababa,Ethiopia), a young girl diagnosed with epilepsy who urgently needs advanced medical evaluation and possibly life changing surgery in India. While Amen bravely battles her condition, her father is also suffering from serious nerve related health issues, leaving the family emotionally and financially overwhelmed. Her parents are doing everything they can to save their daughter, but the cost of treatment, travel, and care is far beyond their reach. This fundraiser is a cry for help and hope to give Amen the chance to live without constant seizures and to relieve a family that is fighting on all fronts to keep their child safe and alive.
