A Historic First for Sligo TKD – Let’s Support Amelia!
We are thrilled to announce that Miss Amelia Rybicki has been selected to represent Ireland in Junior Power Breaking at the 2025 European Championships in Bosnia! This is an incredible achievement, as Amelia becomes Sligo Taekwondo’s first-ever athlete to make the National Team!
Amelia has worked tirelessly to reach this level. She is one of our first black belts and has already proven her power, winning Junior Power Breaking at the National Championships and the Munster Open. Now, she has the chance to test herself against Europe’s best, but she needs our help to get there!
There is no funding available for athletes on the National Team. Each campaign costs a minimum of €1,000, covering travel, accommodation, and competition fees. This is a huge financial challenge, but with your support, Amelia can focus on training and representing Ireland at the highest level.
Every donation, no matter how small, will help make history and support a young athlete who has put in the work to earn her place on the European stage.
Let’s come together and show Amelia that Sligo, Ireland, and the Taekwondo community are behind her all the way!
Thank you for your support!
