Support Amelia's Dream: NSLC Summer Program at Georgetown
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Amelia and I am a Sophomore at Ingraham High school. This year I was invited by the National Student Leadership Conference to participate in one of their summer programs. My dream is to one day become a lawyer focused in criminal law and either defend or help those who seek justice. The program with the NSLC is 9 days at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. where I would live in college dorms and get the college experience! Over the 9 days there will be mock trials, guest speakers with experience in law, field trips to the U.S. Supreme Court and other great landmarks, and a hands-on experience that lets me understand what it takes to become a lawyer. This would be my first look into what life in college and after will be like, giving me a really immersive and exciting opportunity that could help me in my future. I am hoping to raise $3,800 to help me pay for the tuition for the program. This tuition covers my food, living space, and actually learning for those 9 days. The one thing the tuition does not cover is transportation to Washington, D.C. I hope you consider supporting me into my first step towards college and future career! Any amount is greatly appreciated or even just sharing this gofundme. I really am grateful for this opportunity and am hoping you’ll help me achieve my goal!!
