Amelia "Millie" Meyer’s family is facing an unimaginable loss after Millie was tragically killed in a multi-vehicle accident on Halloween night while heading to a haunted house with a friend. Millie was 17 years old and a senior at Ashland High School. Her death has completely devastated her family and turned their daily lives upside down as they try to process this heartbreak and make funeral arrangements.
Right now, Millie’s loved ones are having to pause everything to get through the days ahead. While they focus on grieving and honoring her life, everyday expenses do not stop. This fundraiser is being created to support Millie’s family with funeral expenses, living expenses, and other financial needs that may come up in the coming weeks and months. Millie’s mother is Megan Painter of Ashland.
Millie’s mother’s longtime friend, Lisha Lewis, wanted to help by setting up this GoFundMe and is doing anything she can to support her dearest friend’s family during this heartbreaking time.
This is a time when the community can come together around Amelia “Millie” Meyer’s family and help ease some of the financial pressure they are carrying during the hardest time of their lives. Any donation, no matter the amount, would mean so much. If you are unable to give, sharing this fundraiser and keeping Millie’s family in your thoughts would also be deeply appreciated.
