Hello, my name is Mia. I am managing this fundraiser to help Ameer support his family in Gaza. Here is his story in his own words:

My name is Ameer and I am a 21-year-old Palestinian from Gaza. I am the oldest son in my family, and I help with our financial expenses. I also wish to help those around me who are facing the same problems. I am reaching out to you with a heavy heart. This is a personal plea for help as my life has taken a series of unexpected turns. I have endured five Israeli military attacks in my life, the last of which was the most brutal and merciless. This has left me grappling with devastating losses and insurmountable challenges.

Amidst the beginning of this conflict, I secured a place at the Russian university, full of hope for a brighter future. However, the recent crisis has made pursuing education and survival incredibly difficult. As a financially constrained student without employment due to visa restrictions, I find myself isolated in a new and unfamiliar land, struggling to get through every day.

I am writing to you with a humble appeal for any assistance or support you may be willing to provide. My journey leading to this call has been marked by unprecedented crisis. I feel compelled to share my story with you.
