Hi, I’m Ameera Suttles.
Some of you may remember me from my last GoFundMe, where I was fortunate enough to raise support to continue my higher education after graduating in 2024. I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who donated. truly, I couldn't have done it without the support of all of you.
My first year at Curry College was eye-opening. I gained confidence in my academic abilities and made the Dean’s List both semesters of my freshman year! I was truly inspired, while also testing my work ethic in a new environment. Over my second semester, I thought to myself one night, "The time is now." By the morning, I made a big decision... to apply to transfer to Suffolk University, my dream school since I was young.
And I'm thrilled to share that I've been accepted! Living in the city has always been a dream of mine, it's a place I visit often. It's one of my many safe spaces, where I can enjoy time alone to reflect and creatively express myself. Being surrounded by the energy of Boston, with my dream career path in sight every day, makes this opportunity even more meaningful. The State House is where I hope to work in the future, and attending Suffolk University will offer me incredible opportunities to get closer to that goal. Possibly through another internship.
Now, I’m reaching out once again for help in raising extra funds toward my tuition and expenses as I take this next step in my journey. Whether it’s a donation, a share, or just spreading the word. Any support means the world to me. Truly, thank you for taking the time to visit my GoFundMe, and believing in my education and future once again.
Thank you to everyone and anyone who’s helped me along the way. It takes a village, thank you for being my village.
With gratitude,
Ameera Suttles
