She suffered serious injuries: broken ribs, broken vertebrae, oculomotor nerve palsy causing double vision and severe dizziness, and road rash. The accident has left her facing a long and uncertain road to recovery.

As a travel nurse, Amber has always been there for others, but now she needs help herself. Her contract was canceled because she can't work, and she won't be able to return for at least 12 weeks, possibly longer until her vision and nerve palsy improve. This has left her without income, and the stress of worrying about bills is making her recovery even harder.
