Support Amber's Healing and Recovery Journey

My name is Ashley O’Connor and I’m trying to raise money to help my sister with cost of living and medical costs. My sister, Amber, was driving home with her youngest daughter when a drunk driver struck them head-on, causing the vehicle to flip multiple times over 200 feet away from the crash site. My sister was found hanging halfway out of her car and in the ditch with her hair drenched in gasoline. My niece suffered a broken leg. They were both airlifted to VCU. Amber was in critical care and broke her femur and her pelvis. Her back is fractured, and her sternum. She has some burns on her shoulder and hip from the gas. She had to have emergency surgery on her liver and spleen.

By the grace of God, my sister is healing from her injuries and is now in a stable condition. My niece has since been released and at home to heal from her broken leg.

My sister has a long road ahead for recovery. Anything to help assist Amber with day-to-day expenses and medical expenses while she’s out of work recovering from this life-altering accident.
