Hello, my name is Amber! I am in desperate need of help for my disabled grandmother and mother. They are in a terrible situation regarding their home.

They live in a 35-year-old trailer that needs work, however bed bugs are their biggest problem. With limited income they only make 1900 dollars a month total for both of them.

The bigger problem is they have a bed bug infestation, which is very costly to fix. The infestation is so bad it will cost 5,000 just for the heat treatment which we were told would be 100% effective or the company will do it again for free. It will also cost another 700$ to rent a dumpster to throw everything away, we will have to start fresh, NOTHING CAN BE SAVED! I have tried my mother's social worker, the Department of Social Services. Moral of the story is that no one can help. Ive been looking for options for almost a year with no relief. My biggest fear is my grandmother will die soon and this will be how she lived her final years.

This will be the second year we cant do birthdays or holidays together due to the infestation. They aren't able to see their grandchildren due to the fear of they bugs being transported to other homes they cant even leave the house because of spreading bed bugs to other and fear someone will see their bites.

The small goal would be to raise 5k to have their current trailer exterminated. My ultimate goal is 7500 to help with the cost of extermination, renting a dumpster, replacing their furniture. I would love to have them move with me but my grandmother doesnt want to leave her home, im also im unsure if they really want to live in a home with 4 children every day. Anything anyone can do is greatly appreciated even a share helps me more that you could know. I have put in a request to get a small loan with my job do this extremely concerning issue, however it was denied because I dont live in that home. I do have a little money to put with what is raised but im not going to donate to the gofund me because it will take a portion of the money. Again thanks for your time have a great day!
