Amber, my sister, has faced more challenges than most people experience in a lifetime. As a child, she battled cancer twice, and doctors told her she would never be able to have children. Defying all odds, Amber is now the proud mother of three—Connor (15), Ethan (14), and Palmer (7). Her strength and determination have always been an inspiration to our family and everyone who knows her.

Unfortunately, the effects of her childhood cancer have followed her into adulthood. Amber now has pulmonary fibrosis and relies on oxygen 24/7. Despite our hopes, four hospitals have denied her a transplant, and she is currently in the ICU fighting for her life. On her 39th birthday, Amber had a trach put in, and our family is doing everything we can to make sure she isn't alone during this difficult time. We take turns being with her in the hospital, offering love and support.

We are raising funds to help support Amber's household, her children, and cover mounting medical bills. I know times are difficult for us all right now, so anything you are willing to help would be greatly appreciated. If anyone knows Amber, they know how incredibly strong and determined she is. That adds a level of stress on itself. Eventually when she is released from hospital she will need 24-7 care and hospital equipment such as a hospital bed and other needs.
