At the end of 2025, Amber who is just 25 was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer, acinar cell type. This type of cancer is considered aggressive, and doctors currently know it to be treatable but not curable, placing her among approximately 1% of cases worldwide.

Although this diagnosis has profoundly altered Amber’s life, it has not changed the person she is. If you know Amber, you know her heart. She is the kind of person who gives endlessly, her time, her laughter, and her compassion. She has a genuine enthusiasm for life and a rare ability to leave every place, and every person, better than she found them.

Amber is a daughter, sister, and friend who brings warmth and light wherever she goes. She has always been the one who shows up for others, the first to help, the first to listen, the first to make someone feel less alone. Now, for the first time, she is the one who needs her community to show up for her.

News like this is devastating at any age, but especially for someone so young, so vibrant, and so full of dreams. The road ahead is long, uncertain, and demanding physically, emotionally, and financially. Yet Amber faces this fight with the same fierce grace, courage, and strength she brings to everything in her life.

While Amber's focus needs to be on rest and healing, the reality is that cancer care is incredibly expensive. For the treatment she urgently needs, and between hospital stays, medications, appointments, time off work and the day‑to-day costs of living, we are asking for support from our community to help ease this burden on Amber and her family. Your support will help cover medical bills and provide stability for Amber and her loved ones during this incredibly difficult time.
