Hello, my name is Sandy Rushlow, and I am reaching out on behalf of my family to request your help. Two years ago, Amber—our daughter, sister, wife, mom, and soon-to-be grandma—was diagnosed with stage 4 ovarian cancer. She bravely went through chemotherapy, a hysterectomy, and all the additional treatments offered to her. Her oncologist was hopeful, but recent testing indicates that the cancer has reappeared. This time, Amber is facing swollen lymph nodes, nodules on her liver and lungs, and suspicious cells throughout her abdomen.
Amber and her husband, Josh, have always been community-minded, especially when it comes to youth and sports. Josh has coached baseball and football for both boys and girls, and Amber was always right there beside him, supporting and nurturing in any way she could—whether it was providing nutritious snacks, organizing events, or offering an encouraging word. Now, as Amber faces this new challenge, we are asking for your help in the form of financial support, prayers, or positive thoughts. Maybe all you can do at this time is share our story with others, and every contribution, no matter the size or form, would be much appreciated.
Amber and Josh may have the opportunity to go to Mayo Clinic in Minnesota for additional treatment. If so, that means they will be without an income to sustain copays, doctor bills, house payments, utilities, or whatever other expenses that may arise. If you would, please consider giving in whatever capacity you are able; it would truly be appreciated. Thank you for your kindness and support.
