I am raising money to help support my wife, Amber (Marlow, McDaniel) Huskey, who was recently diagnosed with stage 4 malignant colorectal adenocarcinoma with multi-site disease. This diagnosis has brought a tough and uncertain road ahead, but anyone who knows Amber knows she has an incredible amount of fight and a heart of gold. She has always worked hard to help others, and her light has touched so many lives. Now, it’s our turn to rally around her and give back the support she has shown to others.

Amber has been assigned a specialist team at OU Medical Center, where she will undergo extensive removal surgeries, chemotherapy, and other therapies. This will mean many trips and stays away from home, and with the loss of her ability to work, everyday bills will continue to pile up. I want to make sure Amber can focus on her health and not have to worry about finances during this time. We were just married last weekend, and if she feels up to it and we are able, I would love to take her on a honeymoon to create special memories together.
