Support Amber's Battle Against CRPS-2

Hi, my name is Dale Cummings and with the help of my family, we are fundraising for my daughter, Amber Green. Amber is seeking treatment for CRPS-2, (Complex Regional Pain Syndrome) a type of nerve damage resulting from a previous bone fracture.

After a foot injury a few years ago, Amber continued to experience severe pain in her foot long after her injury should have been healed. Not only this, but her foot started turning colors and the pain would radiate from her foot all the way up to her hip. She underwent several types of therapies' trying to find relief and answers. She tried physical therapy, nerve blocks, harmful medications, acupuncture, traditional chiropractic care, network chiropractic care, and countless MRI's to find a way to give her healing. Nothing gave her relief.

She continues to experience near constant pain, brain fog and insomnia. She wears a brace to assist with walking but is only able to stand and walk for a few hours at a time on a good day. Her ankle is frozen in place and this causes extreme mobility issues. She is no longer able to participate in hobbies that she once loved, outings are very difficult and she has had to transition to different jobs several times.

After over a year and a half of frustrating doctor's visits, testing and no answers, Amber finally received her diagnosis of a very rare condition, Complex Regional Pain Syndrome, after being studied at Mayo Clinic this past year. Though the diagnosis gave us information and a baseline to move forward, we also learned that there is no cure and no treatment available in the United States.

We had a very long road ahead of us.

After some time, research and prayer we came to find CRPS Treatment in Italy. This facility has been helping patients with CRPS for over 8 years from all over the world. They utilize Neridronate Infusions as well as other treatments that affectively treat CRPS. It is currently the only government approved treatment and is defined by the Italian Guidelines for Complex Regional Pain Syndrome the treatment of choice for the condition. They have seen thousands of cases and studied with the Italian Society of Precision Medicine to create a plan that will give the most promising results. It is the least expensive and most effective option for our family.

We have plans for Amber and myself to travel to Italy in May of this year to CRPS Treatment in Italy. The procedure is a 1-week treatment regimen and the cost is about $30,000 and of course is not covered by insurance. The odds of treatment success with this condition go down drastically the longer you wait and as of now Amber has a 85-97% remission rate. We would like to do this as soon as possible to increase her odds of remission. Amber and her Husband, Pete will be using their savings, honeymoon fund and selling their motorcycle to finance this endeavor. They will be able to cover a portion of the expenses but the rest will require a loan. Amber and Pete have just entered a new chapter of their lives as a newly wedded couple so this will put a large strain on their lives financially.

Despite all of Amber's trials she continues to be tough as nails and keep a smile on her face. You wouldn't know that she is in pain because she maintains such a positive attitude. She is incredibly loving and supportive of all of her friends and family. We would love to return to her half the love she has given us. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.
