My mother Amber is going through one of the hardest times of her life. After the passing of her father, she has been left to grieve a tremendous loss while also facing a painful and overwhelming legal and financial situation. In the middle of this heartbreak, my mother learned that her sister fraudulently claimed to be the sole heir to their father's estate and wiped out the bank account. Instead of being able to focus on mourning and honoring her father, my mother is now being forced to fight to protect what was left behind and to seek justice through legal action.

On top of the legal battle, my mother is also trying to keep up with the mortgage payments on her father's house so it does not go into foreclosure. This has created an urgent need for support at a time when she is already carrying so much emotionally. The funds raised will go toward attorney fees and mortgage payments, giving my mother the chance to protect the home and take the necessary legal steps to address the fraud.
