Support Amber, stage 4 breast cancer, mother of 1 and 3 yr

Donation protected
Amber is a 30-year-old mother to 1-year-old Kane, 3-year-old Kayce, and a wife to Brandon. She was due to finish her cancer treatment at the end of this week. After a year-long battle, scan results that were expected to put Amber cancer-free caught everyone by surprise Friday morning. Her cancer has spread to her lungs leaving her with four large tumours. She is stage four. She is the light of many people's lives, her friends and family are asking the community for support during this difficult time.

Ambers's cancer journey began in January 2024. While pregnant with her second child she was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of triple-negative breast cancer. Her treatment has been extensive. IV Chemotherapy, radiation, double mastectomy and a second round of oral chemotherapy. All while pregnant or caring for a newborn and a toddler at home. She heads back into the cancer society on Tuesday to begin IV Chemotherapy treatment again.

This past year many have witnessed Amber doing everything in her power to keep the magic and joy alive for her family. If you’ve had the pleasure of meeting Amber, you know she is pure magic. Bubbly, joyful, selfless, fiercely loving and strong—Amber is the kind of person who lights up a room with her laughter and lifts up everyone around her with kindness and a genuine heart.

She has had beautiful support from her friends and family this last year. However, this upcoming year brings more challenges emotionally, physically, and financially. Brandon, and other family members deserve to have the time to support Amber and be close to her during this extremely difficult battle. Amber deserves time—time to breathe, time to laugh, time to be with her boys and the people who love her most.

The decision to ask the community for help was not taken lightly. She has been fighting this battle for over a year. This GoFundMe has been created to help relieve the financial pressure of bills and work. So her and her family can focus on what matters most: creating memories with their children and holding eachother close for as long as they can. It will help support her family and her boys in the challenging days ahead.

Amber has given so much of herself to others. Now it’s our turn to give to her. Every donation - big or small, message and share - means the world. Donation or not we ask that you please share her story and keep Amber and her family in your thoughts. She deserves to be surrounded by the love and support she has so freely given to others.

No one should have to face the fight she’s endured. Yet, Amber has done it with unmatched strength and grace.

EDIT- May 21- With our goal being reached in 24 hours, we are overwhelmed by support from the community. Thank you to everyone who has shared, donated and sent well-wishes. Amber and the family have received many messages of love, kindness, and warmth. If you have not heard back from Amber or close family, please know we see the kindness and appreciate it. I have seen the effects first-hand. This support has brought some light to Amber and her family. I thank you ALL from the bottom of my heart. With many requests to increase the goal, it has been changed. People care - the large sense of community is astounding. Lots of love to everyone, Jess
