Amanda is raising this fundraiser for Amber Jackson, a close friend since high school who is like family. Amber is a single mother of seven children, and her family is facing an unimaginable tragedy after the heartbreaking loss of her three-year-old son. While Amber was at work, her young Adult daughter was babysitting caring for the twins and other siblings they all laid down together for a nap after school. Amber’s little boy wandered outside with a heat advisory , got trapped in a van during extreme heat, and tragically passed away in less than a hour and a half. The Daughter was looking for the sweet boy as well as the siblings they called the police about a missing toddler.. Ultimately it was Drakon’s brother whom found him lifeless in the van and unresponsive. All the other children came to see their brother before first responders arrived then watched in horror as the first responders tried unsuccessfully to do CPR. This will cause life long impact on this whole family. Most of all the children who saw their brother this way. This loss has shattered the entire family, and Amber’s daughter is carrying deep guilt and blame over something no young person should ever have to endure. Amber needs to be home with her family and the all need counseling. Please find it in your hearts to give. Right now, Amber needs support as she grieves and tries to hold her family together. The funds raised will help cover her $1,400 monthly rent, household bills, food and give her the time she needs to be present with her children in these earliest days of grief.
