If you know Amber, you know she is fiercely independent. She has always been the kind of person who quietly carries her own burdens and would never ask for help herself. So today, we’re asking on her behalf.

Last June, Amber was diagnosed with terminal Acute T-Cell Lymphoblastic Leukemia. In just over a year, she has endured more than most people face in a lifetime. She faced months of intensive treatment before undergoing a an allogenic stem cell transplant in September. Then, in January 2026, she received the news we had all been hoping for—she was in full remission.

Sadly, that joy was short-lived.

Amber’s leukemia has returned aggressively, and she is once again in the hospital. Her doctors have told her that another donor transplant is no longer a viable option. She is currently receiving chemotherapy to help manage the disease, taking each day as it comes.

Despite these devastating circumstances, Amber hasn’t stopped fighting. Alongside chemotherapy, she is exploring every possible avenue with cancer specialists and other agencies to ensure every potential treatment option is considered. We want to make sure finances are never the reason a treatment, specialized care, expert opinion, or opportunity for hope is out of reach.

Cancer doesn’t just take a physical and emotional toll—it creates an overwhelming financial burden. Many aspects of Amber’s care, including specialized treatments, medications, consultations, travel, and everyday living expenses, are not fully covered.

As Amber’s friends, we’re creating this fundraiser because she shouldn’t have to spend a single moment worrying about rent, household bills, how she’ll afford treatment, or how she’ll keep the fridge stocked for her daughter, Olivia. Her energy should be spent resting, fighting, and making precious memories with the people she loves.

Our goal is to raise $100,000 to help cover:

• Uncovered medical treatments, medications, and specialized care such as Allogenic stem cell transplant.

• Travel and consultations with cancer specialists

• Supportive care as her needs change
