Amber Button is a first-year apprentice with IBEW 683, and she’s one of the hardest working people I know. She balances school and work, always giving her best effort no matter the task. Amber is humble, appreciative, and never complains—she’s the kind of person who has her journeyman’s tools out and ready before most people even have their own tools out. Her dedication and positive attitude have made a real impression on everyone around her.

Tragically, Amber recently lost her sister less than a week after Christmas. Her sister was not prepared for such an unexpected loss, and now Amber and her family are facing the emotional and financial challenges of arranging funeral and memorial services. It’s a heartbreaking situation, and I can’t imagine the pain of losing a sibling at any time, let alone during the holidays.

I’m reaching out to our community to ask for support for Amber. The funds raised will go directly toward funeral expenses, memorial services, and any other needs that arise as Amber and her family navigate this difficult time.
