Support Amber Bishop's Stroke Recovery Journey

Amber Bishop needs our help. At 36 years old, Amber is now hospitalized after suffering three strokes. With the help of her doctors, Amber and her family have been trying to get answers.

Amber has been in Washington Hospital since her strokes. She has remained somewhat stable, however, she still has a long way to go. At this point, there is a hole in her heart that may require surgery.

Amber is a middle school teacher, robotics coach, and volleyball coach. Anyone close to her knows how dedicated she is to her work and her students. Seeing her in this condition is certainly heart-breaking to say the least. Amber is not one to stop and rest. If she’s not at school, or practice, she’s at home with her cats and her boyfriend Joe. Her generous and compassionate nature is reflected in everything she does. With school starting back in a few days, we would love to see her fully recover quickly so she can get back to what she loves.

This GoFundMe will help take some of the burden off that will result from her hospital stay. Due to insurance, most (if not all) her medical bills will NOT be covered. As of now, she is still in the hospital under doctors’ care. We are praying everyday for a speedy recovery, however, there are no clear answers at this point.

Anyone who knows Amber, knows what a big heart she has. As soon as anyone needs anything, she is the first to implement a plan to help. Now it’s our turn to step up for her! Any little bit helps, and will be greatly appreciated.
