Support Amber Beatty in Her Fight Against Cancer
We are raising funds to help support Amber Beatty of Babbitt, Minnesota, who was recently and unexpectedly diagnosed with endometrial cancer. What began as a sudden diagnosis quickly led to surgery to help prevent further spread of the disease. Following surgery, Amber was also found to be positive for the p53 gene, which places her at a higher risk and has made her treatment plan more aggressive as a precaution.
While the surgery was successful, doctors identified involvement in nearby lymph nodes. As a result, and out of an abundance of caution, Amber now faces an intensive treatment plan that includes 18 weeks of chemotherapy, followed by 5 weeks of radiation therapy.
Over the coming months, these treatments will bring significant physical, emotional, and financial challenges—many of which are unforeseen and unavoidable. Amber and her husband have already been navigating medical difficulties, as her husband recently retired due to his own health issues. In addition, they help care for three grandchildren, making daily life full and demanding even before this diagnosis.
Amber did not want this fundraiser created on her behalf, but those who love her know that the costs associated with cancer treatment—travel, medications, time away from work, and everyday living expenses—can add up quickly. This fund is intended to help ease that burden so Amber can focus on what matters most: healing and recovery.
Any contribution, no matter the size, is deeply appreciated. Please do not feel obligated to give if it would create hardship for you or your family. Sharing this page, offering kind words, or keeping Amber and her family in your thoughts is just as meaningful.
Thank you for your compassion, support, and generosity during this difficult time.
