As many of you know, Amber and Trinity were in a serious car accident on July 13. They were hit head-on by an elderly gentleman driving at a high speed on the opposite side of the road. They were taken to ECU Health Hospital, where they discovered that sweet T had severe internal damage. She underwent surgery where they determined just how bad it really was. They are currently keeping her sedated until they can do another surgery to start the long journey of recovery.
Amber is not one to ever ask for help! But I am hoping we can help her with the days/weeks to come and not knowing how long they will be in the PICU for. Along with Amber being out of work, there are lots of bills that will be coming and a lot of unknowns. I think it will give her some sense of control and forward thinking to make sure they are prepared at least for the financial hardship that’s to come with this journey.
Sweet T is a fighter, I think we all know that one. She is the sweetest and feistiest little girl I know. She loves hard and big, and I just want to be able to do the same for her and her mama!
2 Corinthians 1:3-4
“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.”
Several people have asked for Amber’s Venmo as well: @AmberHarmon2020
Update: Trinity had surgery July 15 to correct all the damage and when I say GOD IS GOOD, I mean it GOD IS GOOD! Surgery went better than anyone could have expected. There were a lot of unknowns and a lot of scary possibilities but our sweet T is a fighter and she blew all of that out of the park! The road ahead of her is going to be long but if anyone can do it, it’s Trinity. Please don’t stop praying, as this is just the start of her journey. Please keep Amber in your prayers as well, as I know her mama heart has been shaken by all of this. I can’t thank Trinity’s village enough for all the donations, kind words, and prayers. You will never know how much it truly means to Amber and her girls!
