My sister has been fighting for her life for over a month, and our family is reaching out for help during this extremely difficult time.

She was first admitted to a hospital in Lincoln, Nebraska, where doctors discovered a pancreatic cyst along with liver, kidney, and pancreas failure. Her condition quickly became critical, and she was transferred to UNMC in Omaha, where specialists could give her the intensive care she desperately needed.

She spent a long, terrifying period in the ICU and has undergone multiple procedures, including the placement of stents to drain her pancreatic cyst. Her recovery will be long—doctors expect months of hospitalization, rehabilitation, and eventually assisted living as she continues to heal.

She has two sons, ages 11 and 17, who are trying to stay strong while their mother is hospitalized and their lives are turned upside down.

We are asking for support to help cover:
