Destination Imagination is a global STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Math) challenge program that empowers students to think creatively, collaborate, and solve real-world problems.

We are Amazing Innovators — a passionate, dedicated, and highly imaginative 8th-grade Junior High Team from The Woodlands, Texas. This season, we proudly earned 1st Place in the Middle Level Technical Challenge “Win It Big” and received the highest scores in Instant Challenge, highlighting both our technical skills and teamwork under pressure.

Our team has been together for several years, building strong collaboration and problem-solving skills along the way. We have previously had the honor of competing at Lone Star Finals in Arlington, Texas, and Global Finals in Kansas City, Missouri, experiences that inspired us to aim even higher.

As an independent team, we rely on community support to continue pursuing our goals. This year’s Technical Challenge required us to design and build an original game show, complete with a creative gimmick, a dramatic reveal, and a special effect designed to dazzle the senses. Over six months of preparation, we navigated technical setbacks, tested ideas, solved complex problems, and celebrated many milestones on our journey to success.

We are now seeking support to help cover tournament fees for State and Global Competitions, as well as transportation, lodging, and meals, as we advance and showcase our talents on a larger stage. With your help, we can continue to dream big, innovate boldly, and truly “Win It Big.”
