We’re reaching out on behalf of our dear friend, Amar Stewart, who recently experienced a devastating accident. Amar has been working on an extensive mural project for the last few months and while doing what he loves, painting murals and bringing color and life to the community, he fell from a ladder and suffered serious injuries. These unfortunately include fractures to his ribs, back, and pelvis.

He is currently in the hospital, facing a long and painful road to recovery. Thankfully, he will recover, but it will take time. His ability to work over the next several months is unknown, leaving him without a source of income during this critical time of healing.

Anyone who knows him knows how hardworking, generous, and passionate he is about his art and his community here in Asheville and beyond. He has always shown up for others without hesitation, and now he needs our support.

The funds raised will go directly toward his medical expenses, rehabilitation, and everyday living costs while he focuses on healing.
