Support Amariliz's Fight Against Cancer

Friends,

I am Marcy Weber, a friend of Amariliz, whose daughter Leeah is in 3rd grade with Mason (Mason also plays with their 2nd grader, Logan). I know some of you are aware, and others probably aren't, but our friend, Amariliz Lopez, is fighting a major challenge.

Diagnosed with ovarian cancer on 6/11/22, just a day after her birthday, she's been fighting since. She had the surgery and then two years later, breast cancer. Stage 2 triple negative ductal carcinoma. HER 2 positive. She has more testing in February to see if it has spread and next steps.

However, presently, they need a huge miracle. She starts back to work Jan 27th. They lost their car in a bad accident on 12/22 when her husband, Mike, and son, Julian, were in a head-on collision. The car is totaled and they are waiting on insurance.

Disability is no longer coming in. She had another surgery on Wednesday, 1/8, and then she is waiting for an expander to be put back in. Then around May/June, she has another big surgery.

We have done donations in the past; it has been a bit. I know how generous our community is, and so I wanted to put this out there to see if anyone can help. Any act of kindness is appreciated.

Since the original GoFundMe was posted, her condition has worsened—her cancer has spread to her cervix and ovaries, and disability support still hasn’t come through. She’s battling not only the physical toll, but the emotional weight of this fight as well.

She needs strength, hope, and love now more than ever. Please consider donating or sharing her story to help lift her up during this incredibly difficult time.
