This beautiful little baby girl's name is Amara. She just turned a year old. Suddenly, without warning, she became extremely ill. Amara has been in the critical care unit at Akron Children's Hospital for several weeks now. She is a very sick little girl.

Her parents (Chad and Jessie) are wonderful people and exemplary parents. The medical team at Akron Children's Hospital is trying desperately to pinpoint the cause of her condition. It is some type of autoimmune disorder, but so far, the exact diagnosis has been elusive, and treatment has been ineffective.

It goes without saying that Chad and Jessie are living in a state of fear and total exhaustion. Chad and Jessie are good, hard-working people; however, they have depleted their emergency savings and are in dire financial straits right now. The need is great.
